01 / Product & process
Set a pack-level product specification
Choose a reference recipe and define texture at the intended serving condition. State whether visible avocado pieces are required, how additions are distributed and which pack sizes will run. Include the product’s behaviour after the intended treatment and storage sequence.
02 / Product & process
Match mixing to filling
A repeatable recipe needs controlled weighing and a mixer suited to the batch. The transfer pump and filler should handle the actual viscosity and particles. Check the working product temperature, nozzle passage, dosing accuracy and the amount of product left on the sealing area.
03 / Product & process
Keep the preservation sequence clear
Identify where filling, treatment, cooling and storage occur. If an external HPP service is considered, agree the package, processor handover and transport requirements separately. The line layout and package choice should follow the selected product-validation route.
04 / Product & process
Make changeover part of the design
Compare pack formats, change parts, recipe switching and cleaning access before fixing the daily output. A fast filler alone will not increase production when preparation, batch mixing or cleaning is the limiting step. Include startup and end-of-batch product handling in acceptance trials.
