01 / Configuration
Keep the texture branches separate
Smooth puree passes through the selected finishing operation. A chunky base bypasses it and uses a defined cutting or mashing step. The layout should make the selected path clear to operators and avoid accidental fine finishing of a particle product.
02 / Configuration
Check the shared downstream equipment
A mixer suitable for dispersing a smooth ingredient may need a different working arrangement for visible pieces. Check pump and valve passages against the largest particle, as well as viscosity for the smooth recipe. Shared equipment must be assessed with both products.
03 / Configuration
Define the production sequence
State whether the products run as separate batches or require simultaneous production. Compare batch size, preparation output, changeover time and filling demand. A shared front end does not automatically mean both finished routes can run at full output together.
04 / Configuration
Plan recipe and cleaning changeover
Identify shared vessels, pipework and filling parts. Map product remaining in those areas and establish the cleaning and release process for the actual recipes. Consider dedicated equipment where texture, ingredients or production timing make a shared path impractical.
