The duty
What this machine does.
Preservation is not a machine choice made at the end of the line. It changes the filling sequence, package, product temperature and validation work. This site presents chilled, frozen, thermal and external high-pressure processing as interfaces to be defined with the responsible supplier and food-safety team. No shelf life or treatment setting is assumed here.
Working arrangement
How it is built.
Assess chilled or frozen handling, thermal processing where suitable, or a third-party HPP interface. Define who supplies, operates and validates each stage. The line layout should show where product is filled, treated, cooled or frozen and stored.
Operating sequence
- 01
The product, pack and process route are confirmed for the batch.
- 02
Filling and any treatment occur in the validated sequence.
- 03
Time, temperature and pressure records are captured.
- 04
The batch is released only under the agreed responsibility matrix.

Selection essentials
Choose it for the actual duty.
- Recipe, pH, water activity and particle phase
- Package compatibility and seal integrity
- Quality effects of the complete time–temperature history
- Validation and release responsibilities
- Transport, storage and interruption scenarios
Specification
What the quotation must state.
| Scope | Process interface, not a single catalogue machine |
|---|---|
| Chilled | Recipe, hygiene, package and cold chain validated together |
| Frozen | Freezing, storage and thawing assessed on the actual product |
| Thermal | Product-specific time–temperature trial required |
| External HPP | Third-party service; package and logistics must be confirmed |
| Documentation | Responsibility matrix, batch records and release criteria |
Capacity bands are for project planning. Final model, motor rating, dimensions, utilities and acceptance conditions are confirmed on the approved quotation and drawings. No catalogue model is implied where none is published.
Cleaning
Cleaning & maintenance.
Match hygiene boundaries before and after treatment. Validate changes in product and pack rather than assuming one recipe covers all. Define the response to an interrupted or out-of-spec batch.
Interfaces
Upstream & downstream.
Filling, cooling, freezing, thermal treatment or external HPP partner; cold store and distribution.
Technical FAQ
Questions buyers ask.
Does the line include HPP?
HPP is treated as an external post-packaging interface. It requires a compatible package, an agreed processing partner and defined transport, validation and release responsibilities. It is not included as an assumed supplied machine.
Can you give a shelf life for frozen puree?
No. Shelf life depends on the recipe, preparation hygiene, package, freezing rate, storage temperature and the intended use. It must be established through product-specific trials and the site's food-safety plan.
