Avocado Puree Holding Tank

Balance the line with the smallest practical hold while protecting colour, texture and batch identity.

Starting material

Prepared avocado puree or guacamole before treatment, filling or the next process step.

Leaving this stage

Traceable product delivered under the agreed time and temperature limits.

Stainless jacketed holding tank with agitator motor and service platform
Jacketed holding vessel reference. Useful volume, agitation and permitted hold time are selected for the product. Equipment reference.

The duty

What this machine does.

A holding tank can smooth the mismatch between preparation, mixing and filling, but it can also become the place where colour and texture deteriorate. The design should start from the maximum routine and interrupted hold time, the product temperature and the acceptable change in texture. Useful volume, agitation and cleaning access matter more than a large nominal capacity.

Working arrangement

How it is built.

A covered, drainable stainless vessel with level and temperature indication. Agitation may be gentle or intermittent, depending on whether the product separates or holds particles. The outlet and pump inlet should be arranged for complete drainage and a flooded feed.

Operating sequence

  1. 01

The tank is filled to a defined working level.

  2. 02

Gentle or intermittent agitation maintains uniformity.

  3. 03

Time and temperature are recorded against the batch.

  4. 04

Product is discharged completely and the tank is cleaned.

Selection essentials

Choose it for the actual duty.

  • Maximum routine and interrupted hold time
  • Useful volume rather than gross tank volume
  • Agitation effect on particles and air pickup
  • Temperature control and condensation
  • Drainability, venting and access around internals

Specification

What the quotation must state.

ModelProject-configured; no fixed catalogue model is published
Planning band500–5,000 L useful volume, depending on batch and buffer time
ConstructionStainless-steel vessel and contact parts; grade confirmed in the quotation
AgitationGentle or intermittent, selected for puree or particle retention
TemperatureIndication and optional jacket; control strategy defined with the site
OptionsLoad cells, CIP connections, level sensors, insulated cladding, mobile frame

Capacity bands are for project planning. Final model, motor rating, dimensions, utilities and acceptance conditions are confirmed on the approved quotation and drawings. No catalogue model is implied where none is published.

Cleaning

Cleaning & maintenance.

Verify coverage of the vessel walls, agitator, baffles and outlet. Inspect batch residue at low level and around the shaft seal. Confirm that cleaning and rinse water drain completely.

Interfaces

Upstream & downstream.

Upstream mixer or finisher; downstream pump and filler; CIP, temperature and level controls.

Technical FAQ

Questions buyers ask.

How long can avocado puree be held?

There is no universal time. It depends on the recipe, temperature, hygiene, headspace and the acceptable colour and texture change. Establish a maximum hold time through product trials and validate it with the site's food-safety plan.

Should the tank be agitated?

Gentle agitation can keep a puree uniform, but it can also incorporate air or damage particles. Intermittent low-speed agitation is sometimes appropriate. Test the actual product and define when agitation starts and stops.
