Engineering guide / whole fruit prepared flesh handover
Whole Avocado or Prepared Flesh: Receiving Handover
Define which preparation operations remain in scope when the incoming material changes.
01
Whole fruit needs a preparation boundary
Record condition, ripeness, washing and inspection method, peel/stone separation and flesh acceptance. Keep the waste route and operator access in the scope.
| Record field | Project entry |
|---|---|
| Incoming material and condition | To be recorded |
| Receiving checks / supplier record | To be recorded |
| Preparation still required | To be recorded |
| Accepted flesh rate basis | To be recorded |
| Packaging and waste handover | To be recorded |
| Scope owner / unresolved operation | To be recorded |
02
Prepared flesh needs a supplier boundary
Record fresh or frozen condition, package integrity, traceability, prior preparation and the documented receiving requirements. Do not silently transfer missing inspection or preservation responsibility to the mixer.
03
Compare capacity on the same basis
Specify whether the rate refers to whole fruit, accepted flesh or finished recipe. Include any thawing, draining and retained packaging material before comparing line proposals.
04
Complete a blank project record
Use the downloadable avocado trial worksheet to record your own observations. No values are prefilled or represented as measured factory data.
