Engineering guide / yield waste trial record
Avocado Yield and Waste Balance Record
Measure flesh recovery, peel, stones and handling losses on one traceable avocado lot.
01
Weigh before mixing
Record accepted whole fruit, inspected flesh, peel, stones and rejects separately before recipe additions. Include start/end retained material and cleaning losses as named streams.
| Record field | Project entry |
|---|---|
| Lot / ripeness method | To be recorded |
| Whole-fruit accepted mass | To be recorded |
| Inspected flesh mass | To be recorded |
| Peel / stones / rejects masses | To be recorded |
| Inventory and handling loss | To be recorded |
| Run time and method | To be recorded |
02
Keep ripeness and method with the balance
Record cultivar, a stated ripeness method, preparation method, operator arrangement, time and interruptions. Compare accepted flesh quality with measured recovery rather than treating recovered mass as automatically saleable.
03
Separate food and waste interfaces
Name the collection and dispatch point for peel, stones and rejected material. Trial a route for the actual residues; proposed side-stream reuse is a separate specification.
04
Complete a blank project record
Use the downloadable avocado trial worksheet to record your own observations. No values are prefilled or represented as measured factory data.
