The duty
What this machine does.
Guacamole filling is a particle-handling problem as much as a dosing problem. The nozzle, valve and feed path must pass the largest piece without crushing it, while still delivering an accurate fill and a clean seal. Retail cups and tubs also need package handling, lid placement and seal verification. The filler should be trialled with the actual recipe, not with water or smooth puree.
Working arrangement
How it is built.
A particle-friendly hopper or direct feed, low-shear dosing valve or piston, a nozzle sized for the largest piece and package handling for cups, tubs or pouches. Seal stations and lid placement are integrated with the filler. Product recirculation should be minimized.
Operating sequence
- 01
The hopper is charged with the actual particle recipe.
- 02
A low-shear feed moves product to the dosing valve.
- 03
The nozzle fills the pack without crushing the largest pieces.
- 04
The lid or seal is applied and the pack is checked.

Selection essentials
Choose it for the actual duty.
- Largest particle and the full size distribution
- Nozzle and valve passage versus particle damage
- Fill accuracy across the production run
- Product on the seal area and seal integrity
- Package compatibility with the chilled or HPP route
Specification
What the quotation must state.
| Model | Project-configured; no fixed catalogue model is published |
|---|---|
| Planning band | 500–6,000 packs/h, depending on pack size and line configuration |
| Pack formats | Cup, tub, tray or pouch; agreed with the package supplier |
| Construction | Stainless-steel contact parts; grade confirmed in the quotation |
| Nozzle | Sized for the largest particle and the required fill rate |
| Options | Lid placement, seal check, weigh cell, gas flush, date coding |
Capacity bands are for project planning. Final model, motor rating, dimensions, utilities and acceptance conditions are confirmed on the approved quotation and drawings. No catalogue model is implied where none is published.
Cleaning
Cleaning & maintenance.
Remove the nozzle, valve and hopper parts for cleaning. Inspect for trapped particles and seal residue. Confirm that cleaning and reassembly do not change the dosing setting. Include the package handling surfaces in the changeover plan.
Interfaces
Upstream & downstream.
Upstream low-shear mixer and pump; downstream sealer, checkweigher, metal detector, chilling or HPP handover.
Technical FAQ
Questions buyers ask.
How do I stop the filler crushing the avocado pieces?
Start with the largest particle and check every passage: pump, valve, hose, nozzle and any recirculation loop. Use a low-shear feed and a nozzle with enough opening. Trial the actual recipe and inspect the packed product, not only the mixer sample.
Can the same line fill cups and pouches?
It can if the package handling and sealing stations are changed and the dosing system covers both formats. Changeover time, spare parts and cleaning should be compared before choosing a combined line.
